Smarting from two straight defeats in the EPL and League (capital one) cup, Manchester City, the defending champions of the EPL would hope to rediscover their form against city rivals, Manchester United this Sunday. Manchester City lost 2-1 to West Ham away and lost to Newcastle 2-0 at home during midweek at the Etihad Stadium. It seems the champions have lost steam but they still have great players in their squad. Manchester United played out a 1-1 draw with Chelsea last Sunday and as I see it, I have a feeling that this game would end in a draw. Manchester City player David Silva might not feature in the match because he received a knock in the match against Newcastle in midweek. Rooney will return from his suspension and would feature for Manchester United against City.
Another big match that would take place on the 1st of November is Newcastle United and Liverpool which is an early kickoff by 1.45pm Nigerian time or 12.45GMT. Both teams won their midweek capital one cup matches with Balotelli scoring his first goal for Liverpool against Swansea. Moussa Sissoko would be the man to watch in this match after he scored a brilliant solo goal against Manchester City.
Theo Walcott returns for Arsenal in tomorrows match against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium.
