Brazil protests: Dilma Rousseff unveils reforms

Protesters in Brazil have been protesting the high costs of hosting and organizing FIFA Confederation’s Cup and next year’s FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympics. Transportation and telecommunication services were increased and the Brazilian government didn’t do anything about it. Even a former World Cup winner in the person of Brazil’s Romario, the start of the USA ’94 World Cup, who is now a parliamentarian, doesn’t support the world cup, and he speaks out about it calling the new stadiums white elephant projects, why would poor and jobless youths support it, especially when the new found wealth of the Brazilian economy doesn’t reach them.
